There’s something lurking in the Los Angeles dusk— veiled in feedback, swooning with droney guitars, and centered in gritty poetry. Equal parts séance, sermon, and sonic exorcism, After Hours conjures the spirit of the Velvet Underground. Their performances aren’t nostalgia; they’re invocation.
A dive bar band who blurs the stage, consumes a crowd writhing in the VU catalog. After Hours comprises an oddball crew of LA musicians; Ryan Fuller (De La Cuesta) on vocals/guitar, John Seasons (Haunted Summer) on bass, Madison Rene Knapp (MRK) on vocals, Tanner Dean (Black Hall) on guitar, and Brendan Eder (…Ensemble) on drums.
