MADAME HARLEQUIN & the FEEL-ABOUTS
madame harlequin, inspired by the commedia dell’arte arlequin, is a funky 3-string bassist and poetic lyricist with a voice that vibrates straight to the soul.
It is a real pleasure for her to introduce the feel-abouts. An emerging band devoted to sharing the magic of choosing love and peace.
JET DREAD STONE
Duration physics and field hunger and vicious motoring. A destiny engine. Zinc alloy skin stamp to break the mouth and gild the teeth just before the moment all edges surrender to tar spit. You have to give the ear some teeth. Even the no-mouth moth—timekeeper, wingbeam, shadowbeat—dances the path of the gut vandal, dances blunt force, dances cakeward into the glamors of oblivion with habits bad, rabid, and jagged. Jet Dread Stone: protozoic plenum under the sway of the omnivoric drum that makes the mouth into an ear and the ear into a jackal.
DUSTY'S DINER
A Hi Desert local favorite, actor and vinyl enthusiast Dusty Sorg spins old western noir, rare cowboy cuts, and haunted desert diner vibes. Bringing his antique ambience across the Hi Desert since 2021, from Pioneertown’s, The Red Dog Saloon to Out There Bar in 29 Palms, with regular nights at The Ace Hotel’s Amigo Room in Palm Springs and upcoming sets at The Tiny Pony Tavern in Yucca Valley, Dusty’s sets are a journey through the Hi-Desert’s dusty, cinematic soundscape.
