Mellow Code is an avant-garde darkwave project, led by Josh McVety and Oliver Michael German, offering a unique blend of hypnotic mechanical rhythms and new wave vocals. Often getting inspiration and sound samples from their fabrication workshop, Mellow Code’s sound is a mix of EBM, house, and various electronic styles combined with glittering FM synthesis, creating an experience that goes beyond typical genre boundaries. Explore their recent album, “Object Reality”, and tracks like “Ich stehe im Blut” and “Face It” for a creative spin on darkwave and EBM. Velas Negras is a duo from Southern California, weaving the mystique of Mexican folk magic into their sound. Influenced by the haunting melodies of Christian Death, the rich rhythms of Caifanes, and the ethereal presence of Siouxsie and the Banshees, they blend these styles with the esoteric teachings of occultists like Manly P. Hall and Aleister Crowley. Their music conjures a sacred space where the known and the unknown collide, inviting listeners on a journey through the spiritual and the sonic. With each note, Velas Negras illuminates the shadows, leaving audiences yearning for deeper truths and unexplored sounds.

Lovers Guilt is the individual endeavor of Brian Vega, who is known for his role as the lead singer and guitarist for the post punk group Fearing. The project takes on a more classic darkwave style in both its sonic expression and aesthetic presentation. While it draws some parallels to Fearing's sound, it also maintains its own unique identity.
