Coyote Run Studio is a recording studio, event space, and artist retreat located in beautiful Joshua Tree, California. The studio itself features a combination of classic vintage equipment in tandem with modern recording softwares and luxuries.
Created by owner/engineers Daniel Friedman and Ian Stahl, Coyote Run features a 1,000+ sqft live room ideal for recording drums, vocals, and live bands. Underneath a drum-brella isolation unit, bands can get controllable, tunable drum recordings with the push of a button, plus programmable lighting to fit the mood of any track. The studio additionally features a comfortable isolation booth, a room within a room, best suited for intimate vocals and acoustic performances
JShaw is a boundary-pushing producer and DJ known for hypnotic, genre-blending sets that turn every floor into a journey. With a sharp ear for deep grooves and big drops, he controls the energy and locks the crowd all the way in. Expect storytelling through sound, delivered with precision and vibe.
supergloom:
supergloom is a Los Angeles based band lead and created by Shane Graham with Drew Aron and Ian Stahl. Their upcoming EP release, “Black Violet”, out September 23rd, combines explosive nu-gaze with dream pop sensibilities, capturing a dreamy headstate fused with heart-pounding guitars and catchy melodies. The band is known for their loud and energetic live shows, with notable mentions from Buzzbands.LA and Grimy Goods as a band to keep an eye on. supergloom has supported The Veldt, Holy Wave, and Vinyl Williams and have performed at Echo Park Rising, Tremolo Festival (Seattle), and the Lodge Room.
